No. I will build your new site in my account and then transfer it into your account the week of your launch. When your new website is ready to launch, I will redirect your domain name from your old site to your new one. Your current website won't go down until your new website goes live!
Projects are typically booked 1-2 months in advance, but exceptions can sometimes be made! If you have a hard deadline or need a quick turnaround, I'd love to discuss any available options that might meet your needs. Let’s find a solution that works for you.
As part of your design, I will create a basic brand board with hand-picked fonts, colors and a text logo for you based on your responses from my branding questionnaire, if you don't already have branding done.
You don't need a full brand photo shoot before building your website, but keep in mind that having high-quality professional photos can really elevate your site’s look and feel. We can start with what you have, and you can always add professional photos later. I can include a search for high quality stock photos/videos in your package as well.
No, you will need to provde your copy for the site, but I do provide a Google Doc with copy questions and prompts for each page to help you extract and organize your information. Several of my clients love this tool as it often brings to light information they never would have thought to include.
Every project has a different scope based on the various functionalities, features, and goals of each project. Nothing about your business is one-size-fits-all, so your website design project isn’t priced that way either. By creating a custom proposal, I’ll ensure that your business goals are my top priority so I can make your website as effective as possible.
I also value transparency. The investment for a fully custom, strategic website design project typically starts at $3,997 . Now, I know that doesn’t really narrow things down for you, but each project is truly unique and the investment cost reflects that.
